Type Approval for Australia

All Regions » Oceania » Australia
Conformity assessment in Australia is primarily based on European (EU) standards. The Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) in Canberra is the competent authority that manages the process of issuing certificates. IB-Lenhardt AG is in direct contact with the supplier, which drastically shortens the time it takes to receive a certificate for the Australian market and New Zealand. We support our customers professionally in the administration and collection of documents that have to be subjected to the conformity assessment procedure. We also assist with the necessary RCM labeling (Regulatory Compliance Mark) and possible in-country tests, which depend on the technology of the device. After successful examination of all documents, a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) is issued for most technologies, which is valid for 5 years. Make sure that your device complies with local requirements and standards. Rely on our expertise and several years of practical experience in the field of global market access.
