Type approval procedures in Guinea are regulated by the Autorité de Régulation des Postes et Télécommunication (ARPT). The conformity requirements are basically identical to those of the European Union (Declaration of Conformity according to EU Directive 2014/53/EU). We are supported by a local partner who directly cooperates with the authority in Conakry, whereby certificates can be acquired within a short processing time. The homologation process in Guinea does not require local laboratory testing or contact with local representatives. However, product samples are requested for inspection by the authority. Certificates have an unlimited validity period and approved products are subject to mandatory labeling.
