The conformity assessment in the Independent State of Samoa is based on the American (FCC) and European (EU) Standards. The Office of the Regulator (OOTR) situated in Apia is the responsible authority which manages the process of issuance of conformity certificates and examination of product samples which are the two mandatory parts of the local conformity assessment scheme.
