Commission asks for public consultation over the EMC Directive

The European Commission asks for a public consulation regarding the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and EU added value of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.

The target of the consultation is to gain evidence and information for the following points:

• identify possible difficulties during the implementation that may require regulatory or/and non-regulatory corrective measures
• examine the adequacy of the Directive’s provisions in light of scientific and technological progress
