Introduction of a 5 year validity
Effective immediately, certificates in Trinidad and Tobago will be limited to a 5 year period.
A newly published regulation in Trinidad and Tobago, states that Type Approval certificates will be changed from unlimited to a 5 year validity.
This change does not only affect new certificates, but all certificates.
The 5 year validity term will be calculated from the day of issuance, meaning that certificates older than 5 years are now not valid anymore.
Renewals are possible.
