NTC Philippines: Public Consultation on 77 - 81 GHz
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) is holding a public hearing on June 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM to discuss a proposed update to Section 2 of NTC Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007.
The proposed update focuses on adding 77–81 GHz Equipment for Detecting Movement and Alert with an output power of less than 10 mW to the existing regulations.
Interested parties may submit opinions on the planned change or propose other modifications for Equipment for Detecting Movement and Alert in general. Position papers in Word or PDF format are due by May 26, 2026, and must be sent by email to commissioner@ntc.gov.ph, with spectrum@ntc.gov.ph in copy. The email subject line should be: "Position Paper on Amending Section 2 of NTC Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007."
Submissions should include the commenter’s name, company, if applicable, address, phone number, and email address on the cover page or in the email body.
If approved, the Circular will take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation and its filing with the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR) of the University of the Philippines Law Center.
