Turkey adopts the European Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU

The regulatory authority BTK formally adopted the European Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) on 05.11.2020 which is replacing the R&TTE directive.

For products placed on the market in Turkey, the CE DoC should be translated into Turkish as well as user instructions and safety informations.

Manufacturersand importers should be prepared for market surveillance activities of the competent authorities.
