UAE Opens Public Consultation on Private IMT Networks Enablement Framework

The United Arab Emirates Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is conducting a public consultation on the proposed Private IMT Networks Enablement Framework (PRIMTE-UAE). Interested stakeholders may submit feedback until 11:59 p.m. GMT+4 on July 31, 2026.

The proposed framework establishes a regulatory basis for deploying private IMT networks in key UAE sectors, including energy, manufacturing, logistics, and smart infrastructure. It is intended to support national priorities for digital transformation and Industry 4.0.

Submissions should be sent to spectrumconsultation@tdra.gov.ae, with the full document attached.

TDRA is expected to review the contributions before finalizing the framework. The proposed framework aims to promote efficient spectrum use, fair competition, and sustainable network deployment.
