Lebanon: Importer approval under TRA
As mentioned in our previous Lebanon news TRA will now be in charge for issuing Type Approval certificates.
All devices already certified will need a new certificate issued by TRA, the authority informed that there will not be any grace period. This importer-based certificate will have a 2 year validity and the importer must purchase the label at TRA directly and affix to the device; in case the label cannot be applied to the device it shall be applied to the user guide accompanying the device.
