Anatel Resolution 780/2025
New rules target violations, marketplaces, labeling, refurbished products, and consumer rights.
Anatel has published Resolution No. 780/2025, introducing major updates to telecom product certification:
- Expanded list of violations (from 5 to 12);
- Joint liability for marketplaces;
- Labelling remains applicable, but can now be applied (to the product) after import.;
- Refurbished products now certifiable;
- Consumer Protection Code applies subsidiarily.
The regulation is effective immediately, with some provisions enforced after four months.
