ISED opens Public Consultation on RSS-236

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada has newly published a draft of the Radio Standards Specification on General Radio Service Equipment Operating in the Band 26.960 MHz to 27.410 MHz (Citizens Band), or RSS-236 / Issue 2. This RSS presents general requirement and information on the certification process of radio devices which are used for the General Radio Service (also known as Citizens Band / CB) and operate in the 26.960-27.410 MHz frequency range. 

Public consultation on the proposed draft will be opened for comments until May, 17th 2022. Comments may be submitted either by e-mail to consultationradiostandards-consultationnormesradio@ised-isde.gc.ca or online.
