Introduction of Electronic CCC Certificates and Marks

On Aug. 10, the CNCA has issued a new regulation about CCC certificates and marks. This new regulation will come into effect on Jan. 1, 2024.

The CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China), has issued a new regulation, regarding CCC (China Compulsory Certification) certificates and CCC marks.

  • CCC certification will start next year to fully implement electronic certificates, the certification body will still issue an additional paper certificate if a hardcopy should be requested. Previously issued paper certificates are still valid, paper and electronic authentication will retain the same legal effect.

  • Furthermore, CCC marks, should comply with the new " Management Requirements for Compulsory Product Certification Certificates" regulation. The previous related mark management regulation No. 10 of 2018, will be abolished at introduction. This new regulation will come into effect, starting 01 Jan, 2024.

The number of holidays in China is increasing, so expect a delay of 1 week. (29-30 September and 01-06 October)
