PUC Proposes New Spectrum Allocation Plan
On 31 March 2026, the Public Utilities Commission issued a public notice proposing updates to the Belize National Spectrum Allocation Plan.
The Belize Public Utilities Commission (PUC) intends to introduce the Belize National Spectrum Allocation Plan 2026, including an updated National Frequency Allocation Table (NFAT), under Section 12 of the Belize Telecommunications Act. This revision aligns national allocations with the 2024 ITU Radio Regulations and WRC-23 outcomes to ensure international compliance.
