Niger Updates Homologation Procedures
ARCEP activates stricter submission, testing and local-representative requirements under Decision 000011/ARCEP/CNRCEP/25.
ARCEP has issued Decision 000011/ARCEP/CNRCEP/25, effective immediately, introducing updated homologation requirements for terminal and radio equipment.
Key Changes:
Physical submission in two complete sets is now mandatory; applications must be submitted by a local representative with a manufacturer Letter of Authorization.
ARCEP may request RF samples during evaluation.
Labels must be applied before importation; previously approved equipment remains valid.
No transitional period.
