Resumption of Type Approval Process
Following a three year hiatus, Niger regulator ARTP has resumed Type Approval processing. The major changes from prior regulations and proceedings are:
- Samples are required for 2G, 3G, 4G and personal computers
- Type Approval certificates replace approval letters
- New validity period of 10 years for Type Approval certificates
- An original DoC may be required for approval
