On July 26, 2022, the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) in Brazil published an official letter postponing the deadline for simplified renewal policy.

On July 26, 2022, the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) in Brazil published an official letter No. 265/2022 postponing the deadline for simplified renewal policy until October 31, 2022.

For a renewal of a certificate of conformity, ANATEL intermittently waives submission of the following documents:

  • internal/external photos (only applicable if the device has undergone no modifications),

  • test reports (not applicable for devices which failed conformity assessment tests).

The prior deadline was published in ANATEL's official Letter No. 233/2021.
