CRA: New Class Licence for RLAN Devices over 6 GHz band

On April, 26th 2022, the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar announces a present-day Class License for the use of RLAN Devices over 5.925-6.425 GHz band referred to WI-FI 6E technology. The updated regulations enable WLAN apparatuses operate indoors and outdoors as follow:

• Only indoors: low power operation up to 23 dBm EIRP;

• Indoors & Outdoors: very low power operation up to 14 dBm EIRP.
