ISED Updates RSS-139

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada has recently updated Radio Standards Specifications (RSS).

The last version of RSS-139 on Advanced Wireless Services Equipment Operating in the Range 1710-1780 MHz and 2110-2200 MHz has been replaced with Issue 4 of the mentioned standard. The new specification add the frequency band of 2180–2200 MHz and covers multiple requirements from the Standard Radio System Plans No. 513 and 519 (SRSP-513 and SRSP-519). However, requirements concerning mobile equipment identifier and international mobile equipment identity number have been excluded from the current RSS-139 Issue.
