Modification Allocation Plan
The Dominican Republic's telecommunications authority (Indotel) announced modifications to their National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF) through Decree 91-20 on March 4, 2020, following Executive Resolution 011-20. The update includes modifications to the 3,300-3,400 MHz frequency range to accommodate future 5G implementation. This alignment with ITU recommendations positions the Dominican Republic for 5G service deployment and aims to improve telephone and internet service quality.
