New Type Approval Regulation & Increase of TAC Validity
The ATT has recently published a new Regulatory Resolution. One of its key updates is the increase in Type Approval validity from 5 years to 10 years.
On November 6, 2024, the ATT (Autoridad de Regulación y Fiscalización de Telecomunicaciones y Transportes) published a new Regulatory Administrative Resolution, replacing the previous regulation titled "ATT-DJ-RAR TL LP 443/2023."
The new regulation, "ATT-DJ-RAR-TL LP 539/2024," specifies in Chapter V, Article 17, that the validity of Type Approval Certificates has been extended to 10 years, effectively doubling the previous duration of 5 years.
