New additional regulations on Type Approval in Laos
The validity of the certificates will be reduced from 3 years to 1 year from 04 August 2023. In addition, some low range devices will no longer require labeling.
Type Approval Certificates and Acknowledgement letters for DoC will only be valid for one year beginning August 04, 2023. Previously issued documents are not affected and remain valid for 3 years.
In addition, SRD devices do not need to be marked except for those mentioned in Article 10 of the attached PDF.
