New Frequency Allocation Plan and SRD decision

According to a recent announcement by the national regulatory authority ARCEP Burkina Faso, a new National Frequency Allocation Plan is set to be published. The updated plan introduces important changes for mobile networks and short-range device applications.
Key Developments:
The 6425–7125 MHz band has been identified for administrations aiming to implement the terrestrial component of International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT).
The 3600–3800 MHz band is now allocated to mobile services, facilitating the deployment of 5G and other advanced wireless technologies.
In parallel, a new regulatory decision concerning short-range devices (SRDs) has been released:
Decision No. 011 dated 2025-03-21 establishes the categories and conditions of use for stations composed exclusively of low-power, short-range devices.
