Nicaragua Updates Telecom Regulations in La Gaceta No. 215
TELCOR, Nicaragua’s telecommunications authority, has introduced updated regulatory provisions in La Gaceta No. 215.

Exemption List (Article 9)
Under Title 2, Evaluación de la Conformidad y Homologación de Equipos de Telecomunicaciones, Chapter 1, Article 9, TELCOR will publish an official list of telecom devices exempt from homologation.
The list has not yet been released.Mandatory Labeling (Article 12)
Page 25, Article 12 (Etiquetado de Equipos de Telecomunicaciones Homologados) introduces a mandatory label for homologated telecom equipment.
Technical specifications for the label are still pending publication.
