Transition to a new SRD Regulation, effective now

The MCIT (Ministry of Communication and Information Technology) has announced the revocation of the Short Range Device (SRD) regulation, PERDIRJEN SDPPI NO 161/2019, effective August 12, 2024.
The new regulation, KEPMEN KOMINFO NO 260/2024, will take its place as the official technical reference for all related certifications and testing.
After the effective date, all test laboratories must reference the new SRD regulation in their test reports. As a result of this transition, any SDPPI certificate applications referencing the outdated regulation will be rejected starting August 12, 2024.
This regulation change may lead to potential delays in ongoing projects, particularly if additional testing is necessary to comply with the new requirements. Affected customers will be notified regarding any implications for their projects.
The revocation of the old regulation "PERDIRJEN SDPPI NO 161/2019" and the document for the new regulation "KEPMEN KOMINFO NO 260/2024" can be found attached. (Indonesian only)
