Honduras Expands WAS/RLAN Spectrum to 5925–7125 MHz
Effective September 2, 2026, CONATEL Resolution NR003/26 expanded the frequency range allocated to WAS/RLAN devices to 5925–7125 MHz.
To address growing demand for wireless services, the Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) has expanded the frequency framework for Wireless Access Systems and Radio Local Area Networks (WAS/RLAN).
Through Resolution NR003/26, issued on August 26, 2026, CONATEL extended the “General License” frequency range for WAS/RLAN devices from 5925–6425 MHz to 5925–7125 MHz. Accordingly, Note HND40A of the National Frequency Allocation Plan was amended to include the expanded frequency range.
The resolution became effective on September 2, 2026, following its publication in the official gazette.
