Jordan TRC Enforces New Type Approval Rules
Instructions No. 2 of 2025 introduce updated approval terms and expanded exemptions, effective September 16, 2025.
Key Aspects:
Certificate Validity: Two years for local importers; one year for foreign manufacturers.
Expanded Exemptions: Include projectors, scanners, desktop computers, wired and wireless cameras (low RF), laptops without high-power RF, wireless peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headset), chargers, cables, empty cabinets, CDs, and GPS devices without RF capability.
