WiFi 6E Approval Information

On March 7, 2023, the Diario Oficial published the information from the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones IFT that the WiFi 6E frequency band 5925 - 6425 MHz is available for free use, and it published the technical conditions that must be met by the devices to be compliant.

This frequency band is intended for use by WAS/RLAN systems, and low-power devices such as access points, slave access points and client devices may only operate indoors, while very low-power systems such as end-user terminals may operate indoors and outdoors.
