Radio Type Approval for Mexico

All Regions » North America » Mexico
The United Mexican States approves the equipment according to the national conformity assessment system. The homologation system is based on European and American Standards and includes HS code, certification and the possibility of local laboratory testing and labeling. The state authorities responsible for homologation in Mexico are Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) and Normalización y Certificación (NYCE) which are situated in Mexico City.
Depending on the product specifications and institutions providing laboratory testing services that determine the need for lab testing, we can find an individual way for Type Approval in Mexico in the shortest possible time. The need to cooperate with a local agent and/or a local importer is determined by the type of homologation procedure that complies with Mexican law.
The IB-Lenhardt AG Team is pleased to assist the customers with sample management (selection, preparation and shipment), preparation of agreements, labeling and cooperation with the local importer or local representative as well as effective communication with the laboratories located in Mexico. We have a detailed knowledge of the local requirements and support you competently in market access in Mexico. Contact us for a personalized offer.
