  • Legal requirements: The assessment of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields in the low and high frequency range becomes a legal obligation for the exposure of the general population, as stipulated in the 26th BImSchV (Twenty-sixth Ordinance on the Implementation of the Federal Immission Control Act) - the Ordinance on Electromagnetic Fields.

  • Standardization for occupational health and safety: In working environments, compliance with safety and protection regulations in the presence of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields is becoming the standard norm through the EMFV (Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance on Electromagnetic Fields). These regulations replace previous directives such as BGV/BGR B11 and DGUV15 and serve as a comprehensive standard for the protection of workers in controlled environments.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is an essential product characteristic for all electronic devices, as it ensures interference-free operation against external sources.
