Why is RF Testing and Certification important?

The Wireless Radio Testing and Certification of products such as Bluetooth or WLAN devices, are important in order to be able to launch them on global markets. Professional testing and the resulting certification ensure compliance with legal and normative regulations. Compliance with limit values and susceptibility to interference are tested, as well as whether a wireless product transmits on the correct frequencies. The Wireless Radio Testing and Certification secure approval for the respective product for a specific country.

What does ETSI stand for?

ETSI stands for European Telecommunication Standards Institute. It is one of the three major standards organizations in Europe, and is responsible for European standardization in the field of telecommunication.

What does FCC stand for?

FCC stands for Federal Communication Commission. It is one of the independent agencies of the United States, that regulates the communication channels like broadcasting, satellite and cable. The FCC is responsible for various radio services and is also the licensing authority for communication devices.

What does ISED stand for?

ISED stands for Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and is responsible for different functions of the federal government. Its tasks are regulating industry and commerce, promoting science and innovation as well as supporting economic development.

What is important for the Japanese market?
