ECC Consultation: MFCN and Antenna System Updates

The ECC (Electronic Communications Committee) has opened 2 new consultations, open until December 20, 2024.

The consultation items are as follows:

  1. Draft Revision to ECC Decision (06)01
    This draft addresses the harmonised use of the 1920-1980 MHz and 2110-2170 MHz frequency bands for mobile/fixed communications networks (MFCN), including terrestrial IMT systems.

  2. Draft CEPT Report 089
    This report outlines CEPT's response to the European Commission's mandate to develop harmonised technical and operational conditions for using non-active antenna systems and aerial terminal stations within EU-harmonised frequency bands for terrestrial systems capable of providing electronic communication services.
