Indonesia Label Regulation Update

The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika Republik Indonesia (SDPPI), has published a new update, mandating the addition of warning signs on device and packaging. (effective May 13, 2024)

• This revision includes Short Ranges Devices.

• Labelling will now consist of certificate number, PLG ID, QR code and warning sign (page 16, Chapter V, Article (25) section 2).

• For devices too small for labelling, package labelling will be sufficient.

• Submissions, prior to the implementation date of May 13, 2024, will be exempt of this requirement.
