New label requirements in Indonesia, mandate the addition of a warning sign on both, the device and packaging.
The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika Republik Indonesia (SDPPI), has published a new update, mandating the addition of warning signs on device and packaging. (effective May 13, 2024)
This revision includes Short Ranges Devices.
Labelling will now consist of certificate number, PLG ID, QR code and warning sign (page 16, Chapter V, Article (25) section 2).
For devices too small for labelling, package labelling will be sufficient.
Submissions, prior to the implementation date of May 13, 2024, will be exempt of this requirement.
