Potential delays due to missing importer KBLI update
Manufacturers are encouraged to verify their importers updated their KBLI list registration to support the type approval process
Effective June 18, 2026, Indonesian authorities implemented the 2025 KBLI framework, superseding the 2020 version to align with technological and digital advancements.
Migration to this new classification is mandatory for issuing new Business Licenses (PB-UMKU). Consequently, DJID type approval submissions now require a valid PB-UMKU linked to the updated KBLI; without it, applications cannot proceed.
Manufacturers currently undergoing certification should verify their local importers or distributors have completed the migration to prevent delays.
