Type Approval for New Caledonia

New Caledonia is a French Overseas Territory in the South Pacific and a de facto member of the European Union. Specific approval is therefore not required. The conformity requirements are identical to those of the European Union (Declaration of Conformity according to EU Directive 2014/53/EU). However, an import license for certain frequency ranges is required for the import of radio products. This is issued by the L'Agence National des Fréquences (ANFR). We work directly with the regulatory authority located in Nouméa, a branch office of the ANFR, whereby the import license can be provided to our customers within a short period of time and helps to achieve a smooth market access.
