Type Approval for Peru

Type approvals in Peru are regimented by MTC, the Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones. Approvals of Radio equipment are based on American (FCC) standards for smooth market access. We are supported by a local partner who works directly with MTC in Lima, enabling certificates of conformity to be obtained in the shortest possible time.
The homologation process in Peru does not require local laboratory tests or contact with local representatives. The certificates have an unlimited validity period, which minimizes the manufacturer's effort to obtain a certificate of conformity. There are also no additional product labeling requirements.
