Type Approval for Sudan
Type approval procedures in Sudan are regulated by the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA). The conformity requirements are basically identical to those of the European Union (Declaration of conformity according to EU directive 2014/53/EU). We are supported by a local partner, who directly cooperates with the authority in Khartoum, whereby certificates can be acquired within a short processing time. The homologation process in Sudan does not require local laboratory testing or contact with local representatives. However, a product sample can be requested from the authority for viewing. Certificates have an unlimited validity period and the approved products require no additional markings.
