North Macedonia is aligning its product regulations with EU directives as part of the EU accession process. CE marking is generally accepted as proof of compliance. For most CE marked products, particularly those covered by the Radio Equipment Directive and the EMC Directive, no additional national approval is required. Product conformity is overseen by the Ministry of Economy and the State Market Inspectorate. Devices operating in non-harmonized EU frequency bands may require additional authorization from the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC).
CE compliance steps, required documents, and directive references are summarized on our
CE marking service page.
