Amendment to the Short Range Devices Standard
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) amends the Radiocommunications (Short Range Device) Standard 2014 (SRD Standard). This is intended to refer to the latest industry standard and enable the use of international test methods. With these amendments the reference to the Australian/New Zealand Industry Standard "AS/NZS 4268:2012 Radio equipment and systems - Short range devices - Limits and methods of measurement" will be brought up to date so that the minimum performance requirements and measurement methods for short-range devices (AS/NZS 4268) correspond to the last edition (2017). Besides, they permit the usage of international test method standards as alternatives to AS/NZS 4268.
