MIC Vietnam publishes draft updated circular

Type approval certificates must be updated to the new standard and receive the new test reports for the new safety or EMC standards, which are clearly stated in the new circular.

The main changes compared to Circular 02/2022/TT-TT-BTTTT:

1. MIC added new standards
1.1 QCVN 130:2022/BTTTT (RF/EMC standard for wireless audio products)
1.2 QCVN 131:2022/BTTTT (RF standard for EUTRA NB-IoT)
1.3 QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT (Safety standard for tablets, desktop, laptop, DECT phone, Set-top-box, Television)
- until 2023-12-31: IEC 62368-1:2018 report can be referenced
- after 2024-01-01: local testing according to local standard required

1.4 QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT (76-77 GHz Radar, 5G, ..)

2. QCVN 65:2013/BTTTT is revoked and replaced by QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT

3. NFC 13.56 MHz, SRD 5.8 GHz is now in Annex 2. (will fall under declaration of conformity only).

The Circular is expected to be valid from 2023-07-01.
