NBTC Type Approval for Thailand

All Regions » Asia » Thailand
Type approval of radio equipment in Thailand is regulated by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The NBTC requires that all radio equipment be tested and approved by a recognized testing facility (ISO 17025 accredited lab) before it can be sold or used in Thailand. The process involves submitting a test report from the testing facility to the NBTC for review, followed by a field test and a type approval decision. The NBTC may also require additional tests or inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Successful homologation process will produce either an unlimited Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) or an unlimited Class A or B certificate in accordance with the developed technology that the equipment uses. Thanks to our labeling tool in TAMSys, product labeling is done in less than 5 minutes for any of the mentioned types of approval certificates in Thailand, and if you have any questions regarding compliance and labeling requirements in the Southeast Asian region, our competent and trained team will be happy to assist you.
