New Details on MACRA Labeling
MACRA is currently holding a consultation on their new “Terms and Conditions of a Type Approval Grant,”.
Labelling is a key feature of the Draft.
The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA), which announced its intention to introduce labelling earlier this year, has now issued a draft.
The requirements, of the current document, state that all approved devices must display a compliance label featuring the MACRA logo, equipment model, and approval identifier.
Labels will need to follow designated color and design specifications for visibility and safety.
The draft will be open for comments until November 15.
The implementation date for the new “Terms and Conditions of a Type Approval Grant” has been currently set for December 1, 2024.
