Hong Kong Updates HKCA 1007 for ISM Equipment
The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) has published Issue 6 of HKCA 1007, updating the operating frequency ranges for industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) equipment.
Published on August 31, 2026, HKCA 1007, Issue 6: Conformance Specification for Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment sets out operating frequency ranges for equipment designed to generate or use radio-frequency energy locally. Selected frequency ranges are:
13.553–13.567 MHz
2,400–2,483.5 MHz
5,725–5,875 MHz
24–24.25 GHz
61–61.5 GHz
The specification also references the latest edition of CISPR 11 for radio-frequency disturbance limits and measurement methods.
