Oman Announces Key Regulatory Changes
Oman will implement new regulations, including increased fees and updated certificate validity, starting August 21, 2024.
Oman has announced significant regulatory changes set to take effect on August 21, 2024.
Authority fees will see a notable increase of 150%.
Certificate validity will also see a reduction from unlimited to four years. This change will affect approval certificates issued prior to this law as well, the four-year period will start from the date of issuance.
In line with these updates, a new label update has been announced.
Labelling is to include a QR code.
