Type Approval for Jersey

Jersey is a self-governing British Crown Dependency with its own legal and regulatory framework. It is not part of the United Kingdom and is therefore not legally subject to UKCA marking requirements or Ofcom regulations. The UKCA marking does not apply in the Crown Dependencies—including Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man. Most products placed on the Jersey market do not require UKCA labeling. Depending on the product type and regulatory context, CE or UKCA markings may be accepted as evidence of conformity. However, this acceptance is at the discretion of Jersey's local authorities and may vary by sector.
