Type Approval for Serbia

Type approval procedures in Serbia are regulated by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications (MTT), with conformity assessments conducted by national notified bodies. The applicable requirements are based on the European Union’s regulatory framework. We cooperate with a local partner who liaises directly with the national bodies, enabling efficient coordination and fast-track approval. Local laboratory testing is not required. A local representative is not mandatory in all cases, as current regulations allow direct application by foreign applicants. Approved products must bear mandatory labeling in Serbian, in accordance with national requirements.
