Bolivia: ATT Updates List of Equipment Subject to Homologation

On February 25, 2026, the Telecommunications and Transport Regulation and Oversight Authority (ATT) published an updated list of telecommunications equipment requiring homologation.

Key updates:

• New equipment categories added:

  • LoRaWAN

  • RFID

  • Short Range Devices (SRD)

  • FM/AM radio receivers

• Devices under these categories must obtain type approval before import into Bolivia

Additional notes:

• Applications submitted before February 25, 2026 will be evaluated under the previous list

• Applications submitted after February 25, 2026 will be assessed according to the updated list

• ATT will not issue declarations of non-homologation
