Lebanon: TRA Clarifies Label Requirements

According to the authority, local importers must purchase the official certification labels directly from the TRA. The authority also confirmed that the final design details of the label will be determined solely by the TRA.

  Importers are required to obtain the official labels directly from the authority after issuance of the Type Approval certificate.

• Label design and placement:
  The shape and placement of the certification number on the label will be defined exclusively by the TRA.

• No use of example labels:
  The example label included in the recently published regulation must not be used as a draft or reference. Only labels issued by the TRA are valid.
