Lebanon: Responsibility for Type Approvals Transferred to TRA
The Lebanese government has reassigned responsibility for the approval of telecommunications and radio equipment.
The responsibility has shifted from the Ministry of Telecommunications (MoT) to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
All future certifications will be handled by the TRA. Existing approvals will also fall under TRA oversight.
