NCC Updates Labeling Guidelines
The NCC has published the "Type Approval Business Rules", which supplement the "New Type Approval Regulations, 2024" published at the beginning of the year.
The most important updates to the "Business Rules for Type Approval" include:
Mandatory labeling for all type-approved appliances.
Devices with digital displays or remote annunciation capabilities may use electronic labels, but must also have a label on their packaging.
Samples submitted for approval will not be returned to applicants.
